Women’s golf places third at Northeastern Junior College Tournament

Sterling, Colo. - The North Platte Community College women's golf team finished third at the Northeastern Junior College Tournament. The second day of the tournament was canceled due to inclement weather.

Iryana Frahm and Esperanza Mendoza-Rama led the team with an opening round score of 93 to tie for 11th place.

Zoey Oatts carded a 100 to place 17th in the standings, while sophomore Delaine Mize finished 18th with a round of 103. Rounding out the Knights was Ellie Blakely who carded a 126 to finish 22nd.

North Platte will return to the course for the Eastern Wyoming Tournament at the Cottonwood Golf Course in Torrington, Wyo. April 9-10.
