Knights finish tenth at Bethel Spring Invitational
Bethel, Kan. – Treyten York shot an 80 on the final day of the Bethel Spring Invitational to lead North Platte to a tenth-place finish.
His teammate Cole Kramer also bested his opening round score by six strokes to finish in a tie for 36th. Caeson Clarke also improved upon his opening round score to finish three strokes behind his teammate in the field.
Taytom Timbers rebounded from a tough opening round to finish 51st in the field with a total score of 172. Layne Smotzer (+29) and Jason Jensen (+51) rounded out the North Platte players on the course with 64th and 65th place finishes.
The Knights faced rough conditions on the first day with cold temperatures and wind.
Knights return to action at the Eastern Wyoming College Invite in Torrington, Wyo. beginning April 10.
